Established in 1906 

The Rockford Police Relief Association was founded in 1906 by Chief of Police August Bargren.

Since then we have been assisting our members by supplementing their medical, dental and insurance costs.

The Relief Association owns approximately 25 acres of land near the Chicago Rockford Regional Airport.
The main building and a portion of the property is rented to the Northern Illinois Training Advisory Board.
The Northern Illinois Training Advisory Board provides ongoing training for the areas law-enforcement officers.
